In the week ahead, we remember a risen Savior! The one who
bore the load of our sin. At this time, each year, those who know
nothing about our redemption are given the chance to discover
this abundant grace and mercy for themselves.
There are some of these who will discover Jesus, not by being
dragged to church, as I was every Sunday... Or, by being forced
to listen to the teacher in their Christian school - again, as I was!
Rather, they will have their own personal encounter with
someone who professes to be a child of God - Because, that
person found Jesus Christ in a Sunday School lesson... Or, in
Bible class at the Christian Academy parents forced them to
attend!
Each of us is a living testimony to the love and power of our
Almighty Creator! We may be the only Bible the secular world
sees. Your co-workers may study your every movement, without
you ever knowing of their curiosity. Do you live a good
example? Or, do you live the GREAT example?
If only one of your co-workers comes to ask something to you
about your witness, through your wholesome walk with God, it
could be the one response they were waiting for to encounter
the Holy Spirit for himself/herself. It starts with ONE...
I would like to invite you to join us on Old Roanoke Road at the
Water Wiz on April 5th at noon. We will have live Christian
music, games and a BBQ cookout!!! Live the Christian life to the
fullest and invite someone... Be it a co-worker, friend, teenager
or someone who needs to encounter the awesome power of
God through the encouraging of His saints. For directions or
more info, please email me. This is a rain or shine event... If it
rains, we will move inside the skate center. Hope to see you
there!
